Youth Advisory Committee

The Youth Committee of the ECIWDB plays a vital role in shaping and enhancing youth-focused initiatives within our community. This committee is responsible for reviewing and evaluating youth programs and competency systems, ensuring their effectiveness and alignment with strategic goals.

They actively identify and recommend youth services available in the community, working to strengthen partnerships with service providers. The Youth Committee collaborates on the development of the Youth Strategic Plan, implementing strategies to address the unique needs and challenges faced by young individuals in the workforce.

Additionally, they prioritize compliance with WIOA requirements, including resource allocation for out-of-school youth and work experience opportunities. Through ongoing leadership and coordination efforts, the Youth Committee strives to improve youth programs, increase work experience activities, and promote holistic youth development in our local area
